How it works
Send us your last 90 days
How many water heater calls came in, how many you booked, your typical installed price, and when the phone rang. Rough counts are fine.
See where the jobs are leaking
We map the gap between searches, calls answered and installs booked, then show you which fix pays first, with the cost in writing.
Talk it through with a person
No forms and no funnel. Call, text or email; you'll talk to a senior strategist.

Water heater marketing services, and how to pick the first one
A water heater is the one appliance most homeowners never think about until it fails, and then they want it replaced today. That moment decides who gets the job. WaterHeater.Digital helps Canadian installation companies show up at that moment, answer fast, and quote with confidence, and then uses the quiet weeks to sell tankless upgrades and rental buyouts that don't depend on a leak.
We are a marketing and consulting service, not a contractor. We don't install, repair or service water heaters; we help the companies that do.
Two kinds of water heater customer, two different plans
Your customers arrive in one of two states: panicking or planning. The marketing for each looks almost nothing alike, so we build it separately.
- The panicked replacement. A cold shower, a puddle by the tank, a pilot that won't stay lit. This person searches on a phone, calls the first two or three numbers, and books whoever answers and gives a clear price range. Speed beats everything. See same-day replacement leads.
- The planned decision. Someone comparing tankless with a new tank, or wondering whether to keep paying a monthly rental fee. This person reads, compares and comes back two or three times. Clarity beats speed. See rental-to-ownership messaging and tankless upgrade marketing.
Most installers we talk to run one campaign for both, and it serves neither well.
The arithmetic of a missed water heater call
One missed urgent call usually costs more than a month of extra ad spend. Here is an illustrative example you can redo with your own numbers.
Say your average installed replacement is $2,600 and your gross margin on it is 40%, so each job is worth about $1,040 before overhead. If you get 60 urgent calls a month and miss 15 of them because the line was busy or it was after 5 p.m., and you normally book half the calls you answer, those 15 missed calls were worth roughly 7 jobs, or about $7,300 in gross margin. That is before counting the five-star review and the repeat customer.
The fix is rarely more ads. It is answering, texting back within minutes, and having a price range ready. Our guide to winning the no-hot-water call walks through it step by step.
What we do for water heater companies
We run four services, and most clients start with one or two.
- Same-day replacement leads: Google Ads and Local Services Ads tuned to urgent searches, with call tracking and after-hours rules.
- Rental-to-ownership messaging: buyout pages, cost-comparison tools written as plain text, and ads that respect the homeowner's contract.
- Tankless and high-efficiency upgrades: comparison content and off-season campaigns, including rebate mentions where an official program exists.
- Local search and call-first websites: Google Business Profile work, service-area pages and a site built so a stressed person can call in one tap.
Proof from our HVAC work
Our published results come from heating companies, and the same method drives water heater work: urgent search, phone-first pages and steady content. CombiBoiler.ca reached 300% ROI and 300+ monthly leads, and a combi boiler is itself a hot-water purchase decision. HVACDeal.ca produced 500+ leads at a 12:1 ROI. BCWide.ca tripled its leads in 90 days. The full picture is on our results page.
Who is behind this
WaterHeater.Digital belongs to the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group, a Canadian company with its head office in Vancouver, British Columbia. Ali Sedighi leads the work personally; he holds an MBA in Technology Management, has 17+ years of digital marketing behind him and has built 150+ live HVAC websites. Read more about how we work, or see plans and pricing. Our parent agency, HVAC.Agency, publishes the full plan details.
Coverage across Canada
Water heater markets differ a lot by province. Gas dominates home heating in Alberta and Saskatchewan, electricity dominates in Quebec, and oil still matters in parts of Atlantic Canada, which changes what people replace and what they ask about. Some provinces have rebates that touch water heating; others have none. Ontario has specific rules on door-to-door sales of water heaters that shape how rental and buyout offers can be marketed. Start with the areas we serve, then read your own province.
Start with one honest conversation
If you want to know where your water heater jobs are leaking, tell us what your phone did last month. We'll give you a straight answer, even if the answer is that you don't need us. Questions first? The FAQ covers price, contracts and ownership, and the contact page explains what to send.

Frequently asked questions
What is WaterHeater.Digital?
WaterHeater.Digital is a Canadian digital marketing and business consulting service for water heater and tankless installation companies. Ali Sedighi, MBA, runs it from Vancouver, BC, as one brand within the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies.
Do you install or replace water heaters?
No. We are not a contractor and we never touch a tank, a vent or a gas line. We market and advise the licensed companies that do that work, and we send every lead to them.
What does it cost?
Monthly plans start at $2,998 and websites start at $3,500 one-time, in Canadian dollars, with water heater clients adding GST/HST by province (GST and QST in Quebec). Every engagement starts with a 7-day free trial and no credit card.
Can you help us win customers who rent their water heater?
Yes, with honest messaging that explains renting versus owning in plain numbers. We never name or criticise a rental company, and we do not interpret anyone's rental contract; homeowners are told to read their own agreement or get advice.
Will you promise a number of leads?
No. Nobody can promise that honestly. We show you the arithmetic behind a plan, what our HVAC clients achieved with the same method, and how we will report progress every month.
Do you work outside British Columbia?
Yes. We work with installers in all 10 provinces and the 3 territories, and each region page covers the local rules, climate and programs worth knowing.
